– what is the backing (where the poster lays against, not the actual frame as I understand that is aluminum) of the frame made of? Is it cardboard or synthetic wood/press board?
The backing of the poster frame is made of lightweight aluminum.
– Does the frame come assembled and does it have a back for the poster to lay against?
The poster snap frame will not be shipped assembled, and yes, the frame has a back for the poster to lay against.
– Is the clear plastic film removable if I only want the frame?
Yes, the plastic film is removable; however, we do not recommend it. The frame comes with the film to protect the poster.
– What is meant by clear protective film over poster? How thick is the film?
The clear protective film is a flexible thin plastic that will keep the poster safe from any dust/scratch marks.
