Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How thick is the plastic material?
A: Our signs are 3 mm thick (11”). That’s about 30 sheets of copy paper.
Q: How many drilled holes will my plastic signs come with? How big are they?
A: Our 2 largest sizes, 18″ x 27″ and 24″ x 36″, will come with 6 holes. (1 in each corner, plus 2 in the middle). The other (smaller) 6 sizes will come with 4 (1 in each corner). The middle of each hole is 5/8″ from the edge of the sign. The diameter of each hole is 3/8″.
Keep in mind that they are not automatically included, so don’t forget to select “Yes” under “Drilled holes” to have your plastic signs produced with drilled holes if you need them.
Q: What type of printing is used on the signs?
A: We use UV digital printing technology.
Q: Can I print on both sides?
A: No. We only offer 1-sided printing right now.
Q: How Do I clean and protect my sign?
A: Our plastic signs can be easily cleaned using a damp cloth and mild soap. If you plan on installing your signs outside, make sure you clean them regularly.
If possible, install them in areas that get limited direct sunlight and wind. This will extend the life of your sign. Depending on the size of your signs, store them flat and in a non-weight bearing fashion to avoid bending and breaking when not in use.
Q: How do I get the best print results?
A: For the clearest and sharpest prints possible, we recommend signs larger than 12” x 12”, a font size of at least 22pt, and high-resolution images. This will ensure that your signs look their best from 4 or more feet away.
